Profile Summary -

The candidate will be responsible for Storage & Backup activities of all the systems in scope



Role & Responsibilities –

• Installing HP Data Protector software, installing and upgrading clients.

• Installing Commvault Backup software, installing and upgrading clients.

• Working on HP-UX Cell Manager with MOM (Manager of Manager) setup.

• Responsible for configuring/scheduling backups, running backup and restore jobs.

• Good understanding of Media Pool and Usage of media.

• Configuring backups of Windows/Unix File systems, MS Exchange, MS SQL and Oracle Databases.

• Handle 100+ backups in 24x7 window.

• Exposure to Quantum Scalar (i2000), HP ESL and HP VLS (Virtual Library System 6000). Backup Reporting on a daily basis and as per requirement.

• Monitoring servers using HP-OVO console.
