As an engineer on the iPhone team, your responsibilities will range from implementing network and parsing code, public and private frameworks, to high-level user interfaces. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing applications and implementing new and innovative features for future applications. You will also be responsible for debugging and delivering the best possible application performance.
